Need more Info about Affiliate Marketing?
- Here it is!
First:
If you've researched, watched videos or took courses on affiliate marketing, you probably already know that Affiliate Marketing is a performance-based commerce system, where product developers and companies share a percentage of earned revenue from sales and services with affiliates who advertise and promote their products and services
This is a commission-based structure that can be determined by either the number of visitors & referrals to a particular business, or the actual sales generated by the affiliates.
I've seen a plethora of opinions on the topic of affiliate marketing by very successfull & smart people. And there's a lot to be learned from all of them. But at the end of the day, it's not about what THEY say, it's about what YOU do, and how YOU establish your voice & brand to implement a system that'll work for YOU!!
And when you establish your brand, you master your skill-set and begin to scale what works! As a result, this could end up be one of the best ways for you to actually make money online - since it won't cost you tons of money upfront, or require a lot of expertise to get started, It'll only cost you your time, effort and commitment.
What's also great about affiliate marketing is there are no limits to the number of affiliate offers you can promote, set up and manage - making it possible for most beginners to earn quickly without the complications of setting up an official online business.
One of the more common affiliate marketing business models is the promotion of physical products.
This is sometimes known as the "walk the walk" kind of business. And although there are literally thousands of different types of products and services you can promote, it is more common to promote physical products through social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube - even tik tok is bringing in a tsunami of sales for affiliates from viral video posts.
Facebook For example: You want to promote a specific product like stamps and toilet paper through Facebook, a good place to advertise would be on a company's wall or main page (or any business that's more likely to buy those products), because businesses with rest rooms need toilet paper and stamps to send out their business related items right?
Another way of promoting through social media for affiliates is, offering a variety of incentives during promotions, such as discounts, chances to win prizes, free giveaways and showcasing new products, to build engagement and brand awareness etc.
Another benefit of social media for affiliate marketing is the ability to establish new business connections, contacts, clients and customers, and also the building and maintaining of client-customer relations.
THE TWO TYPES OF SYSTEMS
PPS and PPC affiliate marketing systems
The pay per sale, or PPS model is a system where you get paid whenever someone in your network visits your website and makes a purchase. In most cases, these are the affiliate marketers' websites themselves. It is their responsibility to drive traffic to the merchant's site so that they can generate commissions from the sale. You don't do any product promotion yourself, but instead, you act as an aggregator of various leads and refer them to the merchant, where you earn commissions for every sale.
With PPC affiliate marketing, you only get paid when someone clicks on one of your ads. One benefit of pay per click marketing, is the ability for you to select the kind of sites that you choose to advertise on, which greatly simplifies the process.
As an affiliate marketer, you can use pay per click to generate revenue for your business and choose the kinds of sites you want to advertise on, such as health and beauty sites etc. In addition, there are affiliate marketing networks that will help you generate more traffic to these sites, which will allow you to tap into a huge resource of potential customers that you can then advertise to.
Another benefit of the pay per click system is it has fewer restrictions. It lets you choose any kind of site, which means you can create an unlimited number of affiliate channels and generate a stable passive income as a result for years to come.
Just know...
With any business you create, your personality, interests and skill-set will become YOUR BRAND in how you present yourself online.
Also keep in mind that affiliate marketing is not a guaranteed success model - you will have ups and downs, and experience gains and losses - especially considering all the "blood sucking" scams out there selling "useless shiny objects" that glow in the dark, that are only good at extracting money from buyers, with little to no return on investment, which only discourages newbies and uninformed people from taking action that involves taking "necessary calculated" risks sometimes to discover what actually works to achieve success.
Taking "necessary calculated" risks will show you what works and what doesn't. And sometimes, it's the only way to find out if you have a winning system. But, that doesn't mean you throw common sense to the wind and invest in everything you see!
But instead, you calculate the risk, by determining if the quality of the offer weighed against the potential benefits of success is worth the cost of investment - all while (mentally) prepared to learn from whatever happens good or bad.
It can still be said about businesses today, that if you build it they will come (eventually) right?. But, in this age of internet virtual reality and growing technology, those with a more savvy, connected and innovative mind will go and find them!!
But, always always always remember to stay true to yourselves, and the right people and opportunities will find you & you them. I mentioned this in my first affiliate marketing post and I'm mentioning it again in this one. It's that important!!
I hope this provided a deeper look into the world of affiliate marketing that'll help you determine whether or not if's a right fit for you.
And Always feel free to comment and share your thoughts.
Also, If you have any questions or other inquiries, feel free to reach out ! All I ask is that you don't spam my email with phony inquiries & personas, or phishing scam offers.....I didn't just fall off a turnip truck...lol....maybe a bike or two...(when I was little)...but,....not the turnip truck...lol!!
Stay safe and God Bless.
